Vo.Ba川口陽介、Gt.Cho椎野史之、Dr.Cho内野潤一からなるスリーピースバンド「AIRPORT」。2001年結成後、フルアルバム1枚と2枚のミニアルバムをリリース。 2012年に惜しくも解散したが、2020年に密かに再結成を果たし2021年には3曲入りの新作「Take back our sensibility」のリリース後、本格的にに活動を再開。 地道に制作活動も続け、2024年11月より3作連続デジタルシングルのリリースを発表した。 JIMMY EAT WORLD、The Get Up Kidsを始めとする海外emo/punkやeastern youth、envy、toeなどから大きな影響を受け、日本パンクシーンの中でも一際emoシーンの影響を大きく反映した楽曲やサウンドを表現しつづけている。 --------AIRPORT is a three-piece band consisting of Vo.Ba Yosuke Kawaguchi, Gt.Cho Fumiyuki Shiino, Dr.Cho Junichi Uchino.After forming in 2001, the band released one full-length album and two mini-albums. The band regrettably disbanded in 2012, but will secretly reunite in 2020 and release a new three-song album in 2021.In 2021, after releasing a new three-song album, “Take back our sensibility,” they resumed their activities in earnest. They also continued their production activities steadily and announced the release of three consecutive digital singles from November 2024. Influenced by JIMMY EAT WORLD, The Get Up Kids, eastern youth, envy, toe, and other foreign emo/punk bands, the band has become one of the most influential punk bands in the Japanese punk scene, and is now a member of the Japan Punk Society,The band's music and sound reflects the influences of the emo scene, which is a major part of the Japanese punk scene.
